Overwhelmed

Have you ever said to someone or yourself that, "there is not enough time in the day".

It is not that there is not enough time in the day, but it is all about how you prioritize your day or season. Yes, everyone has a lot to do daily and need to have a sense of balance. I remember when God told me to go back to school in 2014 and I felt as if I already had to much on my plate to do. I ignored the prompting at first smh... being disobedient. Then, in 2015 I suck it up and enrolled. As soon as I did everything seemed to fall into place. There was another thing added to my schedule along with being a mother, working a full time job, and an active member at my church . As time went on I was still trying to do it all but everything that was on my plate needed more attention.

I asked a couple of my SISters how do they balance everything with their spouse, children, work, church, and being an entrepreneur. They shared that God does not want you to be overwhelmed with doing what he called you to do and that I needed to ask God what all he wanted me to do in that season. So, I asked God if there was something on my plate that I could put down. He said, "Yes"! I was so excited and frustrated with myself for not asking Him sooner.

In the book of Genesis 1: 3-5 NIV God created the day and night. He knew from the very beginning what he has planned for our life and what all we must face daily. God knows that we need rest so it is no need to over work ourselves. In 1 Peter 5:7, the word of God says, " Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you"

Don't be or become overwhelmed. Share your plate with God.
